My name is Nathalie and I have been a type 1 diabetic for nearly 22 years. I have gone through many phases of eating, vegan, vegetarian, raw food. While at first I felt wonderful on these diets, I always craved something more. I always felt like something was missing.

As someone who loves food, I try my best to diversify my cooking skills. That’s why when I learned about the Primal diet, I knew it wouldn’t be too difficult to switch up my recipes. I also knew that eating this way makes total sense to me, and clicks in a way that no other diet/lifestyle ever has.

This website will be dedicated to my progress while following the primal lifestyle. How it affects my blood sugars, the type of food I eat, and the type of food I feed my 3 children.

I also choose to call it a lifestyle because diets come and go like fads, and this is something, if done properly, will hopefully last a lifetime.
